Item 52LCE- 52 hour Life and Health/Code and Ethics
Life and Health Code/ Code and Ethics is the course you will need to obtain both Life Only and Accident & Health licenses. A Life Only and Accident & Health licensee is a person authorized to act as a life agent which entitles them to transact insurance coverage on human lives, endowments, annuities, accidental death, disability income, sickness, bodily injury, 24 hour Care coverage, as well as Long Term Care insurance. This course INCLUDES the 12 hour Code and Ethics.

Life and Health Only is the course you will need to obtain Life and Accident & Health licenses (1 Course for 2 licenses). A Life Only and Accident & Health licensee is a person authorized to act as a life agent which entitles them to transact insurance coverage on human lives, endowments, annuities, accidental death, disability income, sickness, bodily injury, 24 hour Care coverage, as well as Long Term Care insurance. This course EXCLUDES the 12 hour Code and Ethics. You would only take this course if you already have a 12 hour Code and Ethics certificate of completion.

Property and Casualty (also known as Fire and Casualty) is the course you will need to obtain your California Property & Casualty Broker/Agent license. A property and casualty licensee is a person authorized to act as an insurance agent, broker, or solicitor for products such as but not limited to: auto, home, motorcycle, boat, residential, flood, earthquake, liability, bonds and more. A property and casualty licensee is also authorized to transact, commercial insurance products and workers' compensation. This course INCLUDES the 12 hour Code and Ethics.

What happens after I complete the 52 hour class?
You will receive a Certificate of Completion from Finished in 52 Insurance School and your confirmed attendance will be electronically submitted to the Department of Insurance. You can visit the Department of Insurance website at http://www.insurance.ca.gov/0200-industry/0020-apply-license/to complete your application and schedule an exam. We recommend that you complete the class before scheduling your exam, because it is a requirement to finish Pre-Licensing before taking exam.

Can I take online classes?
Yes, please contact our registration office at 510 964-7677. The pass rate for students taking online classes is typically lower than Instructor-led Courses but for your convenience, we do offer online classes which cannot be combined.
